Adoption Event #2 – Ijams Nature Center
September 15 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Our second event will be at Ijams Nature Center outside of the visitor center. We invite you out to meet our new class who will be participating in class this session. They are looking for their furever homes! They will be through their first week of class, so you’ll see some of their new skills.
Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, please come by to meet the class! Socializing is an important part of our training as we want to introduce them to other people when we can. We don’t want to overwhelm, but let them meet new humans as well!
This session we have Espresso (pictured left), URL (pronounced Earl), Hogan and Gadget.
All dogs are medically screened, fully vaccinated, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick meds, and will have beginner basic obedience training at the end of their 4-week course.
We are accepting applications and will work on home visits while classes are going on. All dogs will be able to go to their new homes on Friday, Oct. 4th after graduations.
All breeds and ages are the best guess from our Dog Selection Committee and Veterinarian.
